Democracy of Jazz is an exciting communication between two hemispheres, southern Africa and Sweden, in the most democratic musical language – jazz! Sani Gamedze from Johannesburg South Africa, with Zulu mom and Swazi dad, now living in Uppsala Sweden, has put charming lyrics to wonderful songs by Swedish composer Jan Strinnholm.
The group has received raving reviews by press and audiences in previous tours of South Africa and Sweden. In this new version of the ensemble, you will hear formidable Jonas Isaksson on guitar, Magnus Peterson on double bass and Celso Paco from Mozambique on percussion.
